Working as a faculty for more than fifteen years, Dr. Kaur had the opportunity to participate in various departmental committees and have assisted in various administrative and academic works in the previous universities she has worked with. This has helped her to mature her administrative skills. Her vision is to create an environment where we can contribute to research work without compromising responsibility. She believes skill development among the students must be the prime focus in professional education and training to meet the health care needs of individual and community. This shall be strengthened by establishing co-ordination with industry and also with faculty both nationally and abroad. Being a faculty in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, she has adopted a more practice-based approach in isolation and characterization of the Phyto constituents and synthesizing new drug molecules in therapeutic areas that have helped the students to get practical skills in diverse areas like analytical techniques, drug synthesis, natural product isolation, physicochemical properties, separation and characterization techniques. Her vision is to provide supportive learning environment that help to foster leadership qualities in students, academic excellence, continuing professional development, attitudes, behaviors, and ethics consistent with professions high standards.
