Dr. Deependra Singh Rawat is currently working as an Asstt. Professor of Physics at Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal Campus. He has completed his Ph.D. under the supervision of a globally renowned physicist Prof. (Dr.) H.C. Chandola from Kumaun University, Nainital. He has 11 years research experience and contributed substaintially in the field of High Energy Physics. He is currently involved in the field theoretical investigations of strong interaction (QCD color confinement, Quark-Gluon Plasma, Phase Structure of QCD), heavy ion collisions and some aspects of Atmospheric Physics He has been awarded JRF and SRF by UGC New Delhi, India under UGC-BSR scheme. He has published 15 research paper in the journals/book chapters/proceedings (SCI/Scopus indexed) of international repute. He has been participated more than 30 international and national scientific meetings in India and abroad. He has been visited ICTP, Trieste, Italy, JINR Dubna, Russia, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, NISER Bhubaneshwar, BHU Vranasi, AMU Aligarh, University of Delhi, VECC Kolkata, BARC Mumbai, University of Luckhnow, Manipur University, Imphal etc for scientific deliberations through oral and poster presentations. He has been the member of the Local Organizing Committee of three national scientific meetings and more than 20 scientific research lectures during his Ph.D. at Kumaun University, Nainital. He has been organized four scientific events (Two workshop and Two colloquium) at Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal Campus. He is the life member of The Indian Association of Physics Teachers, Kanpur, Indian Physical Society, Kolkata, Indian Science Congress Assiciation, Kolkata and Hindi Vigyan Sahitya Parisad (BARC), Mumbai.
